A New Direction

Wow... it's been forever since I've updated, huh? If you follow Lozer Dawg, you'll know I'm retiring that comic. However, since I feel as though the INK Brothers didn't get the spotlight they deserved, I might still make comics included in one of my newest projects as a "meanwhile" comic. It's just been extremely slow-going since I'm having to tote my manuscripts and portfolio to comic publishers, which are all located out of state, and they tend to take quite a while to respond.

Until then, I've been trying to get back into writing weekly comics. Right now, I'm working on a little project called "Gathering Dusk," which will be a much darker comic. I've created a Smack Jeeves account for it, though it's HIGHLY under construction right now: http://gatheringdusk.smackjeeves.com/ And I've got a gallery folder for it on DA: http://cinda7.deviantart.com/gallery/32143530

I might also be creating a Smack Jeeves account for one of my secret projects, Little Miss Murder, but that has yet to be decided. I hope to eventually get my own website, but since my hours at work have been horrendous, and I've been fruitlessly trying to find a different job, I don't want to make that commitment JUST yet.

I will leave this site up for a while, if only for nostalgic reasons, and as always, you can view the comics on my DA: http://cinda7.deviantart.com/gallery/12586600

I want to thank all my fans for the support of the INK Brothers. I know it was a short run, and ended up being MUCH more difficult than it should have been for reasons outside of my control, but I did have fun. I did enjoy the fans, even if they're small in numbers. I just hope that my newest projects will reap a little more success, and I hope I can continue to gain fans and support.

An Apology

I realize I haven't been posting here as much as I should, which is entirely my fault. If you read the Daily Lobo, you might have also noticed my comics haven't been published as of late. Truth be told, we got a new editor and for some reason she's not been answering my emails. It could be because the new email system is whacked. Nonetheless, various little things in my life (namely my programming class and my current obsession with "9") have been putting a damper on my comics.
Not to mention, I started digitally inking the Lozer Dawg comics in Photoshop, but when I upgraded to Window's 7, I realized I lost my Photoshop disc. I managed to snag an old copy of Photoshop Elements 5, but it's not as smooth or easy to handle as my old CS2.
Thankfully I can still work on the Ink Brothers and Lozer Dawg in Manga Studio, but I would still really like my Photoshop back.

HOWEVER, once I get things settled with my editor and get Photoshop back, I'll try to get my butt in gear and try to post more comics.

I am currently taking commissions to help pay for my new copy of Photoshop and various other things (since I haven't been getting paid for my comics and I cut my hours at work BECAUSE I had to work on the comics). If you're interested, please check out this link for information and a price sheet.

If you're REALLY hungry for my art, I must emphasize once again to please check out my deviantART gallery. I certainly update that more than I do here. Plus, there's a folder just for the Ink Brothers, so you can still get your fill.

Thank you for baring with me. I really appreciate it. :)

The Ink Brothers Come To Smack Jeeves!

It was suggested by someone from school that I get a Smack Jeeves account. Although the thought occurred to me a few times prior, hearing it from someone else became my motivation to do so.
If you're looking for more Ink Brothers or art in general, check out my deviantART account. http://cinda7.deviantart.com It will make me a happy panda!
